Litter Expected Early June 2025!

Foster Family Goldens is unlike puppy breeding business operations. Our two dogs, Hank & Sadie, are our pets first, and everything we do is meant to unite you with a unique puppy, and to help you give your family and your puppy the best possible life together. We have over 25 years of Golden Retriever ownership and breeding experience, and we hope that you’ll find that the care we take in breeding and raising your puppy is most exceptional.

Foster Family Goldens rejects the ways most breeders do business. We have seen breeder contracts that restrict breeding rights, naming rights, and some that even dictate what you are allowed to feed your dog! We don’t agree with those restrictions, so we do things differently. Some things that make us unique:

  • Fair pricing

  • No puppy applications or contracts

  • No restrictions on breeding rights; if you want your dog to have puppies, we’re here to help, not tell you that you can’t

  • Advice on puppy food, toys, training, and equipment

  • Sack of puppy food included to get your pup started, or to help you transition to the food of your choice

  • No-pull chest harness included to help your puppy learn to walk alongside you safely

  • Blanket and toy that smell like Mom & siblings to help reduce puppy anxiety when he/she goes home

Unique Breeder.

Unique Puppies.

Baby Sadie

All puppies are unique and special, but your puppy will be extra special.

Why?

Because your puppy will be 50% American Golden Retriever and 50% English Cream Golden Retriever.

Did you know that there are three standard variations of the Golden Retriever? They are the American, the English Cream, and the Canadian, and each of these varieties are based on the breed standard from each national kennel club.

The AKC registers all of three varieties simply as “Golden Retriever,” so no matter what color your dog’s coat, it’s still a 100% purebred Golden Retriever!

We’ve chosen to mix the American and English Cream for two reasons:

  • The combination of the rich caramel color of our American combined with the soft white of our English Cream, and, more importantly,

  • Health! Studies have shown that the English Cream can be more than 30% less likely than the American to suffer from cancers, hip problems, eye problems, and ear infections.
